If your TV turns on but shows only a black screen with no menu or video—and possibly no sound—try the steps below to resolve the issue:
1. Check the Status LED
- Look at the LED light on the front of your TV:
- Solid white: TV is off or in standby mode.
- Off or blinking: TV is powered on.
- To test responsiveness:
- Point your remote at the TV and press any button.
- If the LED blinks with each press, the TV is receiving signals—proceed to Step 2.
- If the LED does not blink, the TV may not be powered on or responding.
2. Verify Power Connection
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into the back of the TV.
- Plug the other end directly into a known working wall outlet (avoid using power strips during troubleshooting).
3. Check Cable Connections
- Confirm that all external devices (e.g., streaming boxes, gaming consoles) are:
- Properly connected to the correct input ports.
- Powered on.
- If needed, unplug and reconnect the cables to ensure a secure connection.
4. Restart the TV
- Locate and press the power buttonon the TV:
- On most models, it’s under the iFFALCON logo or on the back near the right edge.
- Refer to your user manual for the exact location.
- Unplug the TV from the power outlet.
- Wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in and power it on.
